I could be great! i see glimpses of it every now and again, but.. it's almost like i want to be nothing.
Just the other day i was in a really proactive attitude, where i wanted to do tons of things (all at once of course, i've never been a good planner..) but one of the things was, working around the house. and i know that probably sounds silly, but i love making things look better and i love destroying things maybe even more, any time i have a chance to " beautify" something (and i get a notable say in how it's done..) i'm in!
aghhafjwsfj you don't even realize how much i'd enjoy it if i had my own place and the money to fix/make it the way i want *_* <3
Another thing is; I really, REALLY want to have my own food line :X If you follow me on twitter you may have seen that i " presented myself a product line and it was quite good ;o" or whatever xD. i'm serious!! I made some awesome points too >_>
but er.. yes. If you're wondering why i did that; it's because i'm SICK of every single product in a grocery store having hidden AND UNNEEDED ingredients, almost unreadable ingredient lists, and just generally being terrible for you. I don't think people realize things don't have to be that way o_o. And even if they do, the majority of us have no idea how to make most of these every day items ourselves to make sure we know what's in our food and that makes us stuck to eat whatever we're force fed by companies who have zero idea and/or interest in what's healthy for people. it's seriously maddening knowing all the crap they present us as food.
but, yes.. basically my idea was to take everyday food products- (cream of chicken, Ritz, etc etc)-and make "healthier" versions of them, to give people an actual choice in the matter.
i say "healthier" because obviously graham crackers aren't ever going to be good for you. but people are going to use them, so why not give them a version that tastes good (unlike most alternatives out these days..) and something healthier?
We'd be very basic in our ingredient's used, too. how many times have you looked at a loaf of bread and seen a paragraph of ingredients?..every single time? Yeah, me too.
do you know what should be in sandwich loaf? Wheat flour, salt, water, yeast and maybe a little sugar. That's it! now you can be fancy and add multiple different type's of flowers, add some nuts and seeds, etc etc. but even still :P 5-10 whole ingredients vs 30+? i just don't understand it o_o. And on that very same subject, we'd make sure we would use GOOD versions of these few ingredients! none of this genetically modified crap or anything processed. (aka: i'd use a nutrient filled whole sugar, vs something that'll take nutrients away and also just suck. such as; High fructose corn syrup.)
Smarter fats would be used, and in no way would anything be hydrogenated. People need to realize that *good* fats are our friends not our enemy.

Here's a quick couple facts: Coconut oil has the second highest amount of lauric acid, which is known to boost the immune system. The only source with more? Human Breast milk. (it's why baby's have such a good immune system)
And: Sugar is converted into 2-5 times more fat in the body,..than fat.

All the ingredients would be from local sources. It doesn't just support the local economy, but it also gives money to people who make a GOOD product!
If i'm making something that needs beef in it, i'd want it from a grass-fed, free roaming cow.(it doesn't just sound good, it has many health benefits) Not the commercial cow. - whom without the use of antibiotics and hormones wouldn't live long enough to reach slaughter weight. x_X
and probably the best part of this whole thing is that i'd market the price the SAME price as the name brand stuff. there's no reason why organic foods should cost more. it's ridiculous how people are jumping on the organic bandwagon just to rack up the price. (and it's the number one reason why people don't by everything organic)
I'm trying to get people healthier; not rob them blind.
..this all made more sense when i said it to myself, i promise xD. less rambling and such *_*
but yes,. this is something that i feel really strong about. i really am sick of companies treating us like we're not worth anything. and you all should be too!

I had a pretty interesting dream last night, it was about me going after my ex gf again in hopes we'd get together again. And if you didn't hear before; i kinda.. didn't even like my last gf (as bad as that sounds!) >_> so.. yeah.
I'm feeling a bit left behind again i guess everybody else is going out there, meeting people, making money (not at the same time i hope D: omgosh ) And i'm just sitting here! Always complaining about my weight issues, social issues and the fact that NOBODY will hire me..even when i have an "in" -__- etc etc. It's just- I thought once i got my GED things like jobs would come at least a *tiny* bit easier. but of course that's not the case, even though that's what i was told, that's not the case.
it's maddening!!! cause despite what people say and think about me, i'm not content staying at home doing nothing all the time. Yeah, really! it'd help me out in so many ways i can't even count! (not really but i don't feel like counting them :P)
but noooo I'm unneeded in this would of jobs apparently X_X

Haha,. I don't even know where to start with this.
Duckies are just the cutest little animals i think i've ever seen. I remember when i was little i used to go to this animal store nicknamed " "The Red Barn". (just cause that's what it looks like, and i still have no idea what it's really called xD) and right in the very opening you'd see a drawer like cage/heating pen full of tiny widdle duckies! It makes me smile just thinking about them actually xD.
Although, sadly i've gone back a handful of times now that i'm older and i never see any duckies :(
It's always fun to look and talk to the parrot and all the reptiles though :3

I still remember the first time i saw it when i was like.. 6. Me, my brother Ben and my parents were at Total Video looking for movies to rent, and.. I don't know what it was, but i saw Totoro and i just had to see it! ..and the 3+ other times i rented it xD.

Going on adventures with Totoro and his little buddies (Sho and Chu Totoro <3!) Playing in the forest, finding secret hideouts, and ahhh just..feel like a kid i guess xD
It's the main reason for me wanting to go to the Ghibli museum actually. (and the Totoro forest!) it's so "one with nature" looking,. which i like a lot :3! very tranquil n_n
and omg, it's not stuffy either! they want you to walk around freely, touch and feel. It's not just a "nerdy" thing to me. It's as close as i'm going to get to living IN "My Neighbor Tororo"
and that's an experience that will be very special to me.

Sometimes i'll just walk around and have my adventures (go out to the bay,. explore the woods, searching for ghosts and monsters xD, etc etc ) it's fun :3
A lot of people call it a " hole" .. but i think they just can't appreciate what they have in front of them :P

Did you know the number one source of calories in America is not from dairy, Beef or starches.(noodles, potatos, etc etc) Nope. it's from "High Fructose Corn Syrup"
Yes, a modified sugar syrup '_' and you know what makes this more impressive?
Think about how much Dairy you ingest.. Milk, cheese, butter,yogurt, creams,.. And that's not counting all foods it's in you don't even know/think about. Now, do you know how many calories dairy HAS?? it's packed full of more fat and calories more than any other food i can think of. (except pure fat probably xD
)EDIT: I just looked it up, Fats have 250% more calories than sugars. and STILL this sugar is the number one source of calories! All of that and it's not number 1? there's something wrong here..
Created by a Japanese scientist, to create a cheaper more efficient sweetener(it's 20times sweeter than table sugar btw) High fructose corn syrup(HFCS) is bad for you in so many ways besides all the extra calories it's giving you. Most notably is the fact (yes fact, i have sources :B!) that half of all HFCS contains Mercury, which causes death btw, folks.
it drives me nuts, how companies can put this junk (along with dangerous chemicals, which i may talk about >> ) in their products. and then the public's blindness -_-
they put it in almost everything, go look at the ingredients of all your food and you'll see i'm right.

but before i go i'll tell you two more things you should avoid!
MSG: Also in just about everything; and under hidden names too! Even things that say they contain no msg!!!
the bad: MSG is an excitotoxin, exciting your cells to the point of damage. And also a neural toxin. yay??
Microwaves: these are reeeally hard not to use, i know :x especially for leftovers that are hard to reheat, but it's important to avoid them when you can..
The bad: Nutrient loss. Broccoli cooked in a microwave looses 97% of all nutrients compared to steaming, which is just a 20% percent loss. Food without nutrients is like eating white bread. empty calories that don't make you feel full, causing you to eat more etc, etc.
It also causes destruction and deformation of molecules of the food to the point of making them "foreign" to anything in life (i'm serious'_') and we expect our bodies to digest this safely and easily? -_-

Sooo, as you may have guessed this entry is about bread :o
French bread to be exact!
This was my first time where i actually put a lot of effort into my bread making, instead of my usual " wing it!" attitude(xD). I actually researched this time!! (omg)!
xD but yeah. Tell me what you guys think!..even though i know it's hard to really say anything without tasting it..
i think it came out well.. (although i can point out a hundred faults >_> )
